Martial Cripps played Zimbabwe Junior Polocrosse but as a schoolboy, he was diagnosed with a virulent form of Leukaemia. He tragically succumbed to the disease shortly after leaving school. He fought the illness with great courage and dignity.
The trophy is awarded in recognition of his bravery and determination and seeks to engender sportsmanship, courage and determination amongst our junior players.
